Connecting to Services

The services you must consider are sewerage, grey water, potable water and electricity. Electricity is normally not a problem and a caravan style connection is sufficient if you do not go off-grid.  If you are connecting to council potable water, sewerage and/or waste water, you must obtain a consent, but if you design your home with an incinerator or composting toilet and grey water holding tank, you do not require consent for those. Potable water could be provided by a water tank system.
